Parking access control
Resident and visitor parking.
One connected platform.
Manage gated parking from the entry lane to the exit lane. LobiBox brings video intercom, resident credentials, visitor codes and cloud administration together for garages, gated communities and resident parking lots.

Choose your application
Three ways to run a gated lot.
Start with how your property handles visitors and exits. Every option uses the same LobiBox Cloud, tenant mobile app and admin portal. LobiCom central reception is available as a licensed add-on.
Managed In / Managed Out
Control both directions. Residents use credentials at entry and exit; visitors use a Visitor Unit on the way in and out. Entry and exit events are logged. Best for communities and garages that need to control and track departures.
Managed In / Free Exit
Keep the same managed entry, with a vehicle detector opening the exit gate automatically. No exit credential or exit Visitor Unit is needed. Entry events are logged; free exits are not managed or logged by LobiBox.
Residents Only
Use credential-controlled entry and exit lanes without a visitor lane or Visitor Unit. Access levels and schedules determine who can enter and when. Add an optional IP call box for residents who need assistance.
| Parking operation | Managed In / Out | Managed In / Free Exit | Residents Only |
|---|---|---|---|
| Resident entry | Credential lane | Credential lane | Credential lane |
| Visitor entry | Visitor Unit | Visitor Unit | No visitor access |
| Resident exit | Credential lane | Automatic free exit | Credential lane |
| Visitor exit | Visitor Unit: code or call | Automatic free exit | No visitor access |
| Access event log | Entries and exits | Entries only | Entries and exits |
Resident credentials
Every way in, managed together.
Choose the credential options that fit your residents and lane layout. Manage access levels and schedules from one admin portal.
Mobile app
Residents tap to open an authorized gate from the iOS or Android app. A cloud command operates the LB-A2D gate relay, without a separate card or tag.
Access card or fob
Present a proximity card or fob at the resident-lane reader or the Visitor Unit’s built-in reader. The LB-RFID-1 uses 125 kHz credentials and a Wiegand connection to the controller.
Windshield tag
Offer hands-free, long-range entry as a vehicle approaches. Compatible third-party tag readers connect through Wiegand to the LB-A2D.
License plate
Let the plate serve as the resident’s credential. The LB-ANPR camera sends the plate as a Wiegand 26-bit credential to the LB-A2D controller.
Visitor entry
A clear arrival process for guests and deliveries.
Visitors can use a scheduled code or QR code at the Visitor Unit, call a resident, or contact LobiCom reception. On managed-exit sites, they can use a Visitor Code or one-time exit code, or call for release.

Create and share
A resident creates a visitor credential in the app, or an administrator creates one in the portal. Send the code or QR link by text or email.
Arrive at the gate
The visitor enters the code or scans the QR code at the Visitor Unit. Visitors without a code can call a resident or reception.
Open and record
Valid access opens the gate and records the event. Codes expire after one use or at the end of their scheduled window, depending on the code type.
Scheduled Visitor Codes and QR codes
Set a start and end date for repeat visits. Tenants can issue codes for up to 30 days; access levels can allow up to a year. Every code includes a secure, randomly generated QR link.
Quick Codes and exit codes
Create a one-time Quick Code for a delivery, courier or contractor. For controlled exits, provide a one-time exit code. Administrators can review who issued each code and when it was used.
LobiBox mobile app
The gate, in every resident’s pocket.
The iOS and Android app combines gate access, visitor calling and visitor scheduling.

See visitors before answering
Live video appears in the app before the resident picks up. The resident can speak with the driver and grant or deny entry.
Manage everyday arrivals
Open permitted gates, schedule visitor credentials, share Quick Codes and review call history from the app.
Keep calls moving
Redirect calls while away or use vacation mode. With SIP licensing, calls can ring a cell phone, landline or VoIP phone, with rollover between app and phone.
LobiCom central reception
One operator, multiple gates and properties.
Give a front desk, guard booth or remote reception team a central dashboard for visitor calls and gate operations.

Verify visitors by video
Receive a call from a Visitor Unit, see and speak with the driver, confirm who they are visiting and release the gate. The event is logged against that lane.
Manage gate operations
Open, hold or time a gate release; review access-point and network status; disable visitor access; and route calls to the appropriate desk or guard by shift.
Hardware and project planning
Build the right equipment list for each lane.
Combine LobiBox access hardware with the gate equipment selected by your installation team.

LB-VUOD1117W
Outdoor video intercom for visitor lanes, with tenant calling, visitor code and QR entry, reception calling and a built-in card reader.

LB-A2D
Two-door access controller with two Wiegand reader inputs and two Form C relays per board. Stores credentials locally and operates gate relays.

Readers and assistance
LB-RFID-1 card readers, LB-ANPR license plate cameras and compatible third-party tag readers support resident lanes. An optional LB-IPCB IP call box provides a SIP assistance call to reception or a guard phone.
- Gate operators, barrier arms, vehicle loops and gate safety devices are supplied by others.
- Count one controller reader input per reader technology per lane. A lane with card, plate and tag readers uses three inputs.
- For free exit, the vehicle detector connects directly to the gate operator. Use managed exit when departure logging is required.
- Gate-position contacts can connect to controller status inputs when gate status is needed in LobiCom.
